How will I receive my files?
Your files will be available to download after checkout. You’ll also receive an email with your download information.
I haven’t received my download email. What should I do?
Check your spam or junk folder first and make sure the email address entered at checkout was correct. If you still cannot access your files, contact us with your order details.
What file types are included?
The included file types are listed on each product page. Depending on the product, these may include PNG, JPG, PDF, or ZIP files.
What size and resolution are the files?
All Chic Designs Digital files are supplied at 300 DPI.
Digital papers are normally supplied as 3600 × 3600 px JPG files, equivalent to 12 × 12 inches when printed at 300 DPI.
Craft clipart is normally supplied as transparent PNG files measuring approximately 2000 px on the longest side. Exact dimensions may vary depending on the shape of the artwork.
Larger sublimation files and ready-made designs are supplied at dimensions suitable for larger printed products. The exact dimensions are shown on each product page.
What is the difference between craft clipart and sublimation files?
Craft clipart is designed primarily for cards, journals, planners, stationery, scrapbooking, stickers and other smaller creative projects. These files are sized to remain easy to download, store and use.
Sublimation clipart and designs are larger files intended for products such as shirts, mugs, tumblers, cushions and other larger printed items.
Always check the dimensions shown on the individual product page before purchasing.
Are the digital papers seamless?
Products described as seamless digital papers are designed to repeat continuously. Decorative papers, junk journal pages, and other products may not be seamless unless specifically stated.
Can I make the files smaller?
Yes. You can reduce the pixel dimensions of papers, clipart and other design files using free image-resizing tools.
Reducing a file normally works well. Enlarging a small file can reduce image quality, so choose the larger sublimation version when you need artwork for a large printed product.

Can I convert the files to another format?
Yes. You can convert JPG and PNG files using a free converter. Remember that JPG does not support transparency.

Can I remove a background?
Many clipart files already have transparent backgrounds. Where needed, you can use a free background remover.

Can I use the designs commercially?
Yes. A commercial and print-on-demand licence is included with every purchase. You may use the designs in finished physical and digital products, subject to the licence terms.
Can I use the designs for print-on-demand products?
Yes. Print-on-demand use is allowed when the artwork is used as part of a finished product. The original files may not be sold or distributed as standalone assets.
Can I resell or share the original files?
No. The original files may not be resold, shared, redistributed, given away, or repackaged as competing digital assets.
Do printed colours look exactly like they do on screen?
Colours may vary slightly between screens, printers, inks, paper types, and print settings. Test printing is recommended before producing a large quantity.
Do you offer refunds?
Because these are digital products, refunds are not normally available once immediate access or downloading has begun and you have agreed to waive your 14-day cancellation right. This does not affect your legal rights if a file is faulty, incorrectly described, or cannot be accessed.
Do you offer custom recolouring?
Many products are available in multiple colourways. Custom recolouring may be available for selected designs as a paid service. Prices start from £15 plus VAT per set. Please contact us with the product link and requested colour before purchasing.
